Reza joined Insight in June 2005 as Head of Alternatives and is now responsible for Insight’s Specialist Investment activities, which includes Insight’s absolute return, specialist equity and real assets such as Farmland. In addition he is responsible for the Private Equity investment activity that invests in private equity funds which are predominately focused on the buyout market. Before joining Insight, Reza was at Schroders for 8 years where he set-up and was responsible their hedge fund business which included the fund of hedge fund investment activity and also a range of single strategy hedge funds (distressed debt, emerging markets, European equities). Before joining Schroders, Reza spent 8 years at Rogers, Casey & Associates, a leading US investment consultant. While there, Reza was responsible for their multi-manager business, which offered customised multi-manager solutions to some of the largest pension funds in the US. Prior to Rogers, Casey he was a fixed income analyst at Salomon Brothers in New York. Reza graduated from Columbia University with degrees in Operations Research from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Liberal Arts from Columbia College.
